An update from the 2Box team

Dear DrumIt users and those who aspire to be.

Firstly our apologies. We know many of you have been very, very patient, and all at 2box would like to thank you. We hope you understand, that since the first kits were manufactured, small changes to the manufacturing process have been made to enable us to ramp up our production, due to the unprecedented demand for the drum kit. Whilst we are delighted at the excellent response the product has garnered, it has given us a few headaches, from a logistics point of view. We would like to confirm shipments will leave the factory next week, and hopefully arrive in our German warehouse by the end of November. If everything runs smoothly, we predict most retailers should have the product by the second week in December.

Also, the next shipment will include the new OS version 1.0. This will also be available from the web site for download. For those of you who have a DrumIt from the first shipment (with OS 0.36 and boot 1.10), we will describe a special upgrade procedure which will allow the user to update the boot program before downloading OS 1.0.

You can rest assured that we are dedicated to the further development of the DrumIt Five system. It has been a long journey developing this system and as most new products, some quirks have to be ironed out to really make it what it should be. We sincerely hope you enjoy DrumIt Five now and even more in the future.
