We at 2box are very aware about the significance of colour and have many years of experience involving a brand being recognised by its colour. So this kit is orange. It is quite funny how many drummers write on the forums how they dislike the colour, yet everyone so far that has visited the shows has actually liked the colour.

Janis Helfrich studied drums at the “FMW“ (Frankfurter Musikwerkstatt) and at the “Drummer’s Institute“ Düsseldorf. He is currently a drum teacher in Limburg’s huge public music school “Kreismusikschule“ where he offers lectures on different aspects of being a drummer. “Spitzbart“,“Beaker’s Mom“, and “Planemo“ are just a few of the bands that Janis is drumming for.

All components that make up the DrumIt Five kit will in time be sold as separate items. For obvious reasons in the beginning (possibly first two or three months) the product will only be available as a full kit.

Rainer 'Raikku' Tuomikanto, is a professional drummer from Finland. He has been playing drums for almost 20 years now and is the drummer in the band Kasvain. The DrumIt Five really hit a mark for Rainer saying "This beauty is on it's way to make history on electronic drums, the sound and the feel; trust me man, there's no other"

The new 2Box Rubber Head's, are wonderful if you like to play with a skin that feels more like a proper drum skin, but obviously have to be quiet for practicing at home. As they are quite complex to manufacture they will only be available as an optional item. These heads will not be available from day one, but hopefully you will be able to buy them within a couple of months of the first kits hitting the stores.

Benedikt Kusenbach is 17 years old and lives in Germany. His been playing the drums since the 4th grade, and is the drummer in the band Moneo. For Benedikt the feel of the DrumIt Five is "sensational". Also stating "The quality which the toms are made with is awesome, it feels like playing on a real drumkit. When I played on other e-drums I always had problems with that."

These video's feature sound set examples from the soon to be released DrumIt Five sound library. No reverb, EQ's or effects are used. These sound sets are not final, although they are close to being finish articles, there will be more tweaking and fine tuning before release. At release there will be 99 drum kits available from shipping. This is just a small teaser to start with. Please enjoy.
