We have returned from the Frankfurt show and have many videos and photographs to share with you. These will take sometime to upload onto our website, so we have selected a few of our favorite clips for you to view now. We sincerely hope you enjoy them. These video’s are intended to show you how close we are to delivering DrumIt Five.
At the show we had four kits from the first production run. They were constantly played on for four days solid. It didn’t matter if you played heavy metal or jazz, these kits were put through their paces and they certainly stood up very well to this treatment.
Many exhibitors will not let end users use the kits that their demonstrators play. This can be for many reasons. Unfortunately / fortunately whichever way you look at it, we had no option. We had so many drummers coming to the stand to play the kit, that we had to let end users use the demonstration kit as well. At least this enabled drummers to see, that the demo kit had nothing special on it that the other kits on our stand didn’t have.
Here at 2Box we scan the forums and websites just to see what is being said about DrumIt Five. There are a few things that have been said, that have made us smile. One great comment we have read is that the company is called 2Box because the kit comes in two boxes. Whilst the kit does come in two boxes, we looked into the future and saw that equipment coming in the future could come in one box or many boxes, so let us just assure you, that the name 2Box has nothing to do with how many boxes the kit comes in.
Another point we would like to clarify. The sounds that will come with the release of the product are our own. We know there are some very good companies out there making drum samples, and many have already approached us wishing to work with us, but all the samples that will come with the unit are our’s.
